Happy Monday to you All,
As a way to get away from my home based business I have a weekend job selling static caravans (trailers to my American friends).
It's all very well having a work at home business but it can stop you meeting 'real' people so I find it a real benefit to get out and do something that allows me to meet lots of happy people so what could be better than doing a job where everybody is on vacation or having a weekend away.
Anyway yesterday a couple came into my sales office, their clothes, though clean were old and scruffy, their hair long and unkept looking, the man had 5 or 6 days of grey stubble and the woman was obese and had a 'tash. They arrived in a beat up, dirty car that looked nearly as old as the couple.
After a few minutes conversation I showed them the cheapest caravan I had (about $17,000).
90 minutes later they gave me a deposit for a $65,000 caravan.
The sale was really difficult because I had allienated the couple by making one of the cardinal sins of a salesman and pre-judged them thinking they had no money. It took a lot of hard work to then get them to like me enough to buy from me.
I am proud that I don't usually pre-judge but yesterday I did and it almost cost me the sale.
A more graphic example of not pr-judging can be seen in the video link at the bottom of this post.
In it's first week on You Tube this performance is reputed to have been seen by over 16million viewers if it does'nt completely blow you away within the first 6 words of the song don't ever come back to my blog, there's something wrong with you.
Check out this Amazingly beautiful woman.
